Consultation on Weights and Measures Reform |

| Many of you responded to our recent questionnaire regarding weights and measures enforcement and whether we as an industry could play in bigger part in inspection and verification of equipment. As you may have guessed the questionnaire was to some extent inspired by the Weights and Measures Reform proposals discussed elsewhere. There was a very positive response to the idea of the industry taking on a greater role in inspection and we are now looking to develop more detailed proposals to discuss with the Membership and NWML at some time in the future. This would seem to be the ideal time to indulge in some radical thinking and seeing how we can take things forward. |
