The second course is now over, the log books are being marked by the course tutor and external assessor and successful students will receive their Certificates at the October Regional Meeting.
Feedback from the course has been very positive and the course is becoming recognised throughout industry and government agencies and future courses will be open to non-members.

- Apply the legal requirements for stampable/verifable equipment in accordance with the regulations
- Recognise traceability and hierarchy of measurement when applied to equipment and weights
- Describe the organisations within Legal Metrology
- Demonstrate numeracy and literacy by completion of Test Certificates for trade equipment
- Have a good understanding of Type Approval Certificates and Test Certificates for EC approved equipment
- Demonstrate effective problem solving when applying legislation in Legal Metrology
