UPDATE ON THE SUPER FEDERATION STRATEGY
Heads of Terms have been agreed between BHETA and the BJGF and currently lawyers have been instructed to work these up into a legally binding agreement.
It is hoped that it will be possible to sign this agreement at the next BHETA Board meeting on the 30th April which will be held at Federation House in Birmingham specifically to facilitate the PR coverage of the signing of the document and the recording by photograph with attendant PR releases following.
The consultation process at Brooke House is now completed and we have confirmation that Denise wishes to relocate to Birmingham.
The role identified for her is that of Office Manager/PA and we are currently working on the full details of her job description.
Our objective is to ensure that we have a seamless transfer of operations from Brooke House to Federation House in Birmingham and to this end, it is not possible to definitively state when that transfer will be effected, in that we will continue to run operations on at Brooke House for as long as necessary, and if required, in tandem with Federation House to ensure that the transfer is effected smoothly with no reduction in service to either members or secretariats.
Roles for new recruits have been identified and profiles produced. Denise has been heavily involved in the formulation of the structure of the staff resource and the relevant profiles of each team member. Interviews will commence shortly.
At this point in time, our original timescale of relocation during July looks achievable.
