I am pleased to confirm that the UK Weighing Federation have organised an ATEX Training Course, which will be held on Tuesday 21st June 2011.
The course will be held at the Bordesley Hall, Alvechurch, registration is 9am and the course starts at 9.30 am and finishing no later than 4.30 pm.
The course objectives are:
- To provide an awareness of the terminology used and the Standards involved
- To explain Equipment Marking appearing on products
- To examine Certification Documentation for key safety related information
- To discuss the requirements for installation, inspection, maintenance and the associated documentation
- To explain and clarify the requirements of the European ATEX Directives and the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres
- Regulations (DSEAR) as applied in the UK
- To assess that the delegates sitting the course have a basic knowledge of the information provided
