DESCRIPTION:This year’s AGM & Regional Meeting will take place in the Oak Room\, Principal York Hotel\, Station Approach\, York\, YO24 1AA  on Thursday 18th April 2024. It is free to all members to attend (booking required). \n\n\n\nRegistration for the meeting will be from 12.30pm with lunch\, and the meeting will commence promptly at 2.00pm \nThis year there are 2 vacancies on the UKWF board and members are invited to nominate candidates to serve on the board. Nominations must be received by 4pm on 2nd April 2024 to be valid. Booking on this rate automatically adds you into the AGM dinner. \n\n\n\nThe closest cheaper hotel is the Hampton by Hilton\, Tofts Green\, York\, which is approximately 5 minute walk away. \n\n\n\nDinner information \n\n\n\nThe meeting will be followed at 7pm by an AGM dinner in the Crown Room. Members who book into the Principal York hotel on our rate have this included in the price of the room. Members not staying at the Principal York hotel can register for the dinner. SUMMARY:UKWF Certificate Course 18th - 22 Sept 2023
DESCRIPTION:The UKWF will be running the first UKWF Metrology Certificate course (open to any UKWF staff) in September in Hertfordshire. This will be from Monday 18th September to Friday 22nd September. \nThe pricing for this course has been set well below market rates\, as this is to benefit UKWF members. Based on the feedback we received from members\, we are expecting a lot of interest for this unique training course. \nPlease  book here if you wish to book a delegate into this course and we will contact you with joining instructions. We are using Eventbright for bookings as this will operate a waitlist for us. Bookings will close on 31st May 2023 \nPlease note: \n\nwe will be limiting attendance to 10 delegates face to face\, and 10 attending online.\nBookings will be on a first come first serve basis – so no guarantee anyone will be accepted.\nMembers will be waitlisted if all spaces have been taken
