We specialise in weighing equipment of all makes. Sales, service, repair, hire and calibration. From ultramicrobalances to weighbridges and in all sectors, domestic, education, pharma, chemical,medical etc.

We are accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 as audited by UKAS, to a capacity of 2500kg for the calibration of non-automatic weighing instruments.

Based in Gateshead, our team of 11 service engineers cover an area from Stanstead to Inverness but most of our work is in the North East of England. We are Safecontractor Approved.
We pride ourselves on giving a high level of service to the customer.

 

ISO accredited weighing specialist Precision Instruments will become part of the Group.  The acquisition of Precision Instruments allows Gem Scientific, through previous acquisition Northern Balance, to extend the capability of its calibration business, providing a competitive edge whilst offering a greater range of services and support to its customer base throughout the UK.
