SAM JONES

Sam Jones is Chief Technology Officer at Adam Equipment and has spent more than 20 years working across the weighing and metrology industry in technical, commercial and leadership roles.

Appointed to the board of UKWF in April 2024,  Sam is passionate about raising standards across the industry through collaboration, education and the sharing of good practice. He works closely with manufacturers, service organisations and regulators to support technical competence and improve understanding of legal metrology and compliance.

Sam believes that if something can be improved, the best approach is to get involved and help make that change happen. This mindset has shaped his career and continues to drive his work within both Adam Equipment and the UKWF, where he is committed to supporting the long-term development of the weighing industry.
