During the webinar, our Technical Officer, Ian Turner, will be explaining the background to proposed changes to the codes. Originally a number of years ago we were looking to be able to work autonomously to free up TSO’s to check other non UKWF equipment. We realised that this would be difficult to achieve and would take many years, so we reviewed our existing objectives and how we could find ways to work towards becoming a mark of excellence.
We currently meet our objectives by enforcing codes of practice and we are looking to reviewed the codes to reflect the practices that our members are actually currently delivering.
